Operations Coordinator
Sobre el puesto
We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to keep our production running smoothly — sourcing and buying the parts we need, planning and coordinating our builds, and managing inventory so we never run short or overstock. You'll be the connective tissue between our suppliers, our assembly team, and the products going out the door.
You don't need years of experience — if you're organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, we'll teach you the systems. This is a role with real room to grow: as we scale, it's built to become a full-time position and grow into ownership of our whole operations and supply chain.
Qué harás
- Procurement: Source and purchase materials, components, and supplies — request quotes, place and track purchase orders, and manage vendor relationships and lead times
- Production: Plan and schedule production and assembly, create and track work orders, and keep builds moving on time
- Inventory: Manage stock across raw materials and finished goods — receiving, stock levels, reorder points, cycle counts, and keeping everything organized
- Anticipate what production needs so the build team always has the right parts on hand — without over-ordering
- Track costs, lead times, and inventory in our spreadsheets and systems, and help set up better tools as we grow
- Coordinate shipping and receiving, and help get finished products out the door
- Work closely with engineering and assembly to plan for new products and production runs
- Spot bottlenecks and help improve our purchasing, production, and inventory processes as we scale
Qué aportarás
Above all, we care about organization, reliability, and a great attitude. If you're the kind of person who keeps things running, sweats the details, and communicates clearly, you'll thrive here — no formal experience required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented — you keep track of many moving parts without dropping any
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
- Strong communication skills — comfortable coordinating with both suppliers and teammates
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and quick to pick up new software and tools
- A reliable, hands-on team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn — no formal experience required, we'll train the right person
- Able to work on-site in Maryland Heights, Missouri
Se valorará
- Experience with procurement/purchasing, production planning, inventory, or supply chain
- Familiarity with inventory or ERP/MRP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Fishbowl, NetSuite, or Odoo)
- Coursework or a degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, retail, or production environment
- Comfort with basic data and analysis to track costs, lead times, and stock levels
- An interest in how physical products get built and shipped
