The 2026 test asks you to pick one event in each of three categories, then measure each student's result against the published benchmark for their age and sex. The app holds every one of those benchmarks and applies them the moment a result lands — nobody compares anything by hand.

We never collect a student's birthday — birth month and year only, and only the age ever appears on a result.

Do I need JagTrax hardware to run the test?
No. The app conducts the events with or without it — the beep-test cadence, the curl-up countdown, and the plank timer all run on the phone, and the mile can be taken on a stopwatch. JagTrax is what automates the mile: run it as a timed event and every student's time lands in the assessment on its own, instead of being read off a stopwatch and typed in later.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. The app conducts and scores the whole test fully offline, which matters because most gyms are concrete boxes with no usable signal. Cadence audio, countdowns, timers, and benchmarks all live on the phone in your hand.
What do students and families see?
A result is visible to your staff and to the student's own linked account. Results are never public, and there are no leaderboards on the fitness test.
How are ages handled — do you need student birthdays?
