Timer of the Month is a recognition bestowed upon a Jaguar Timer at the beginning of each month. The timer is chosen because they have done exemplary work with their timing business and we at ITS would like to highlight their contributions and hard work.​
Our Timer of the Month for March is Brent Walker of Fun Promotions LLC. Brent has been involved with race timing for over 30 years! His dedication to his community has made him a mainstay for race directors in Michigan.

1. What made you decide to become a timer?
​
As a race promoter, I wanted to take control of my own timing needs. Having a dedicated timer on staff helps me manage an important element of any successful race/event.
​
2. What event have you timed or hosted that has meant a lot to you?
​
Really each event has its own special place for me. Race management is my continued education from my personal perspective as a past professional racer. Hosting a successful event or helping a race director manage a race all bring joy to me.
​
3. What is the motto you live by?
​
"Never trust the weather forecast." Be ready, but really how often are they correct?? Piece of mind for a race director is priceless!
​
4. What is your essential go-to race day ITS product?
​
I really like the Kiosk and the instant result receipt feature for the racers. In today's busy world that is all many racers want to see is their results, then they can get on with life.
​
5. Do you have any advice for other timers?
​
See #3. I'm always happy to help other race directors with the small fine details to ease race-day stress.
