Terry Building a G4 system.jpg

We're closing in on our end of second quarter for 2024, and once again we are going to set records for system sales! Our order queue is staggering and we continue to hire additional team members to help us get caught up. Our new G4 Sports Timing System is delivering truly amazing results. One of our largest Jaguar Chip Timers does some very challenging events and we speak to them often. Today they stated that they just never miss a chip read. Of course, the Jaguar Timing System is much more than race timing. It's a multi-media platform that makes every athlete feel like they just competed in a world championship. Coming soon is our new G4 Pro system. We're working on some patents for this new product because it does a few things never before seen in this industry. We have a little more work to do, but just wait until you see what we announce.

When a G4 is born, it goes through an enormous number of tests as it's being built. Nothing is left to chance and the total build time generally takes about 3 weeks. That's because of the number of inspections, engineering measurements and signoffs required of different personnel in manufacturing. Nearly everything is made from scratch in our factory. We cut our own plastics, fabricate our own supports, create our own brackets, design our own printed circuit boards, mix our own potting compounds, 3D print many of our own panels, etc. It's hard for me to believe that we now own three CNC machines for cutting our own plastics, have five 3D printers creating production parts, and hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in machining tools, test gear, lab equipment, etc. All of this dedication to quality explains why our failure rate for a system in the first 5 years, due to a manufacturing defect, is less than 1/20th of 1 percent. That's unheard of in the electronics industry and we're proud of what we deliver to our customers.

Finally, we thought you might like to meet one of our newest electronics technicians who works in our manufacturing area. Her name is Terry and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on our team. She has over 20 years of experience in Surface Mount technologies, soldering, designing circuits, testing complex electronics, and so much more. She has a great personality and we're thrilled to call her and her husband Steve, family members. We hope she stays around for the next 20 years! This picture shows her working on the start of the assembly of another G4 reader!
